- Your labels blur "was" and "am." Your Who I AM section is mostly origin material (Jewish school, circumcision, parents), and your Who I was section is the virginity story. That's fine — but if the arc is "was → am → want → goals → obstacles → succeed," most of your first half is actually WAS. The present-tense "who I am" (insecure now, dating now, sexual self now) currently only shows up under What's in the way. Worth deciding: is this a chronological story (was → am) or a thematic one? - "Who I was (we might omit)" — the virginity story is your richest origin. Don't reflexively cut it; it's the most-developed vein in the vault (rabbi's daughter, first-time-in-the-dark, announcing to the rabbi). If you cut for time, cut within it, not the whole thing. - Two beats are empty/thin and both need writing, not finding: - What I want to be — empty.
