About

What is this

This is stuff straight out of my jokes folder in Obsidian. I’m very disorganized, so not a lot of my jokes have actually made it in here. They still live in my apple notes and haven't been transcribed to my vault yet. But I figured it would be worth sharing just so you can see how much nonsense I write. Not only in content, but in organization. This whole thing is incredibly disorganized.

I’m constantly going through old stuff, trying to add it to the jokes folder, trying to make things a little tighter and understand where everything fits. So you’ll see a bunch of stuff that isn’t finished. Some stuff that isn’t finished but has been posted anyway. And so on.

I don’t know if it’s going to be enjoyable reading any of this. I’m really just including it because I can.

The graph view shows how notes connect to each other through links I’ve made in Obsidian. Most of the dots floating around have no connections at all because, again, disorganized.

One more thing. I’ve been using LLMs to sort of talk to my notes. So some of the connections you’ll see were generated by an AI reading through everything I’ve written and finding links between ideas. I don’t let AI write my jokes for me, ever. But I’ve found that Karpathy’s method of interacting with your knowledge base has been a lot of fun. Just talking to an LLM that kind of understands how to navigate everything I’ve written.

Oh, and this is important. A lot of my notes have been transcribed, and sometimes I just don’t go back and fix them. So there are some egregious typos and sentences that make absolutely no sense. I know what I’m looking at when I read them, and maybe I’ll fix them eventually because some of them are really embarrassing.
