fantasy football vs dungeons and dragons

So I don’t respect anybody who plays fantasy football

Hell, I barely respect people who play football

Yeah, you work really hard on your body and you exercise like crazy and you make millions of dollars a season

But also

You have CTE

And yes, it’s totally worth it

I would also give myself a concussion

If I could make as much money as you do

But I don’t respect people to play fantasy football because these are the same people who made fun of us were playing dungeons of dragons in high school

The same people who made fun of me for liking Yu-Gi-Oh! until I was in 10th grade

And then their defense yes you should make fun of people who play Yu-Gi-Oh’s as adults

But fantasy football is essentially Dungeons & Dragons

The draft is literally when you create your character for the campaign

You got One guy taken care of the whole thing kind of coordinating the league of the campaign

And you were literally gambling on a roll of the dice

Or whether or not some football player somewhere is going to tear his ACL or not

You’re betting on the mental health of professional athletes. I think that’s worse than me figuring out if I should tackle a dragon.
