comedian origin story batman joker

A friend of mine recently started doing comedy after a breakup. I thought: this is a great origin story!

My origin story is that my aunt and uncle were murdered in an alley. I started comedy and my cousin became Batman.

The Joker was thrown into a vat of acid and he became a lame comedian but a great villain. I wonder what would have happened if he was thrown into a vat of ice cream? Would he have been a jollier comedian?

But a comedian's origin story is far from the point. All of us are tortured not by a single incident but, at the minimum, by our parents and the shitty job they did
