allergic cats exposure therapy

I'm allergic to cats and I don't want to be and I've heard that the way some people get over allergies is with this thing called exposure therapy. And I think I'm doing that because this cat is exposing himself to me right now.

So the way allergy exposure therapy works is that you'll go to the doctor and they'll inject you with a little bit of the allergen on a fixed schedule. And then over time your body stops reacting so negatively to the allergens.

Well that's not what I'm doing. Uh but I do think I'm getting some sort of exposure therapy because this cat won't Leave me alone.

Uh And I I I don't mind. Either I'm going to get over my allergies or I I'm just going to die.
